A few things
worth knowing.
What is Room Rhythm?
An NFC medallion and guest service page for boutique hotels and premium rentals.
How do guests use it?
Tap the medallion with an NFC-capable phone. A QR code offers another way in. No app to download.
What can guests request?
Quiet time, cleaning, towels and maintenance. Staff confirm service requests.
Is Smart Presence available now?
Coming soon. The website shows concept renderings and an interactive demo, not a live sensor system.
What does the $50 cover?
Estimated DIY hardware for the optional Smart Presence concept in one room. Installation, software, support, tax and shipping are extra. Final pricing is still being confirmed.
Are there cameras or microphones?
The proposed sensing kit uses radar and a door contact, with no cameras or microphones.
Can it prove a room is empty?
No. Sensors can miss people. Staff still knock and follow hotel entry procedures.
Who controls privacy?
The guest. Do Not Disturb takes priority. A staff-assisted sensing opt-out is planned.
Can I start without sensors?
Yes. The NFC-only service kit is the lower-cost starting option, with no room sensors or electrical installation. See the technical overview and how it works. Kit pricing is still being confirmed.
When will it launch?
No launch date yet. Join the list for updates and early pilot news.
